Editing MFHD Records

If your library's holdings for a serial title change, you may need to edit the related MFHD record. For example, if your library previously retained issues of a title for three years, but now will retain only the previous and current years' issues, you would need to edit the holdings statement (MARC field 866) in the MFHD. To edit a MFHD record:

• Retrieve the bib record for the relevant title
• Select the “Serials” button
• Select “Manage MFHDs”

• Select the MFDH entry to be edited
• Click the “Actions” menu
• Choose “Edit MFHD”

• If your library decided to retain only the previous year's issues along with the current year's issues, you would need to edit the holdings statement (MARC field 866) from this:
