Adding Courses
To add a new course to the Course List:
- From the “Course List” tab, select “Add Course”
- Enter the course number and course name
- Add a section number, if applicable
- Click “Save”
Once the course is created, you can complete its set-up by attaching it to a term, adding items, and adding users.
Attach a course to a term
To attach a course to an academic term:
- From the Course List, select the “Terms Taught” link for the course
- From the Course Term configuration screen, select the “Attach course to a term” button
- From the dropdown menu, select the correct term
- Click “Save”
Alternatively, you may attach a course to a term as follows:
- From the Course List, double click the row for your course
- From the record editor, select the “Course terms” tab
- Select the “Attach course to a term” button
- From the dropdown menu, select the correct term
- Click “Save”
OR as follows:
- From the Course List, check the box for the course
- Choose “Edit Selected” from the Actions menu
- From the record editor, select the “Course terms” tab
- Select the “Attach course to a term” button
- From the dropdown menu, select the correct term
- Click “Save”
Viewing Terms
From the course list, you may select the “Terms Taught” link to view terms assigned to this course.
Select the “Return to Course List” button to go back to the list of courses
Next, add the course materials.
