Creating a New Selection List

  1. Go to Acquisitions ⇒ Selection Lists.
  2. Click New Selection List.New Selection List
  3. In the window that appears enter a name for your selection list and click Create.Name Selection List
  4. The new selection list will display in the grid.
  5. Click the selection list name to open it.Name Link

When Loading MARC Order Records

  1. Go to Acquisitions ⇒ Load MARC Order Records.
  2. Apply the appropriate template or fill in the fields. :!: Do NOT check off Create Purchase Order or Activate Purchase Order.
  3. In the Add to Selection List field enter the name of your new selection list.
  4. Enter a queue name.
  5. Select the file to upload.
  6. Click UploadLoading to a Selection List
  7. Click on the Selection List link to go to the selection list.Selection List Link

Using View/Place Orders in the Staff Catalog

  1. Search for the title in the catalog.
  2. Click on the title in the search results list to get to the Record Summary screen.
  3. Click on the Other Action dropdown and select View/Place Orders.
  4. Click on the Create Selection List button.Create Selection List Button
  5. Enter the name of the selection list and click Confirm.Name the Selection List

When Adding a New Brief Record

  1. Go to Acquisitions → New Brief Record.
  2. Enter a name for your selection list in the Add To Selection List field.
  3. Enter the appropriate information for your brief record.
  4. Click Save Record.
  5. Your selection list is created with your line item.
