Editing Issues
- From the record summary for the title, select Serials » Manage subscriptions
- Select Manage Issues
- Select the item(s) that you would like to edit
- From the “Actions” menu, choose from the list of options
- Print routing lists: if your library uses routing lists and the selected item has been received, you may print a routing list
- Receive selected: Choose this option to receive an expected item. The receiving window will open.
- Barcode selected: if you received an item without barcoding it, select this option. The regular receiving window will open and you may enter/scan in the item's barcode.
- Add following issue: Choose this option to create the next expected issue.
- Edit issue holding codes: Select this option to edit the publication date, enumeration, chronology labels or issue type. You may also indicate whether the issue is an “ad hoc”/special issue. This may be useful if the issue is published on a special date or, possibly, in adding a special issue.
- Mark as claimed, Mark as discarded, Mark as not published, Mark as not held: Select one of these options, as appropriate, for items that have not been received as expected.
- Item notes: Use this option to add a staff or public note related to the item in hand.
- Reset items: Use this option to set a received item back to expected.
- Delete items: Select this option to delete one or more items. This will delete the corresponding item(s) in the Evergreen catalog.
