The staff client uses a slightly modified version of the public catalog.

• Both versions display a list of items, but the catalog in the staff client displays additional data about each item, including the barcode, the active date, and the age hold protection information.
• There are links after the barcode in the staff catalog to view or edit complete items information. Access to edit functions is controlled by the permissions for your login.
• There are links to place copy and volume holds in the staff catalog item display
• This link appears in the tools section of the full item record: Clear AddedContent Cache. This option is rarely used in libraries – it clears the cache in cases where a cover image failed to load completely.
• There are no links to Save to My List on the staff version of the catalog.
• There is no Permalink option in the Tools section and the permalink at the bottom of the record is text rather than a link
