If a periodical's publication schedule changes, a new prediction pattern will be needed. The existing prediction pattern should be made inactive by deselecting its checkbox. Only one prediction pattern should be active at any given time.

Ideally, the obsolete prediction pattern should be deleted. A prediction pattern may be deleted if there are no serial issues that have been received using that pattern. If you are unable to delete an obsolete prediction pattern, uncheck it and mail

To delete a prediction pattern:

• From the Record summary screen, select the Serials » Manage subscriptions
• Select Manage Predictions
• Select the “Delete” button for the prediction pattern you wish to delete
